The Youth & Justice Forum is a collaborative effort that builds trust between kids, cops, and the community. Interactive scenarios provide an opportunity to address issues of mistrust in a setting that allows for constructive dialogue, proactive engagement, and problem-solving. Police officers, lawyers, and law school students teach youth about their rights and responsibilities when in contact with law enforcement. In turn, police gain valuable insight into youth perspectives on policing, crime and justice.
